  • Look at or observe attentively, typically over a period of time

  • Traditionally, a 24-hour day is divided into seven watches. These are: midnight to 4 a.m. [0000-0400], the mid-watch; 4 to 8 a.m. [0400-0800], morning watch; 8 a.m. to noon [0800-1200], forenoon watch; noon to 4 p.m. [1200-1600], afternoon watch; 4 to 6 p.m.

  • Issued when the risk of hazardous weather is significant.

  • Secretly follow or spy on

  • Keep under careful or protective observation

  • A watch is a timepiece that is made to be worn on a person. It is usually a wristwatch, worn on the wrist with a strap or bracelet. In addition to the time, modern watches often display the day, date, month and year, and electronic watches may have many other functions.

Here's a little video of my attempts (and finally success) at getting the Superman down. My thighs are literally bleeding right now. :) (Part of the editing went a little goofy at the beginning.) But I thought I'd show a little of the work involved in getting some of these moves. A lot of it is figuring out what your body is/should be doing, not knowing what will happen at many particular moments or how you will fall if you can't hold on. Scary and fun. Eventually this particular move will look much smoother, (I hope) but this was my first one. :)))

I'm currently learning most of this stuff from watching videos at StudioVeena (studioveena.com). Most of the time I can look at a girl doing a move in a video and just emulate it, but this move required Veena's step by step teaching method. Moving my hips up and around in this position just wasn't natural or easy for me. It still doesn't make much sense to me how my body stays horizontal instead of sliding down the pole. But I'll take it.
